P.S.Shelley Master Thatcher Ltd is run by myself (Paul Shelley) and my eldest son (Ethan Shelley). My work has been accredited with multiple awards through the 'National Society of Master Thatchers'. I'm the current chairman of the East Midlands Master Thatchers Association.
My thatching career started in 1997 when I left school becoming the sixth generation of my family to work in this trade. The Shelleys have been thatching in Essex since 1807. I've had great success in the thatching business and have remained very happy and very successful within the thatching trade due to my excellent workmanship and use of the finest materials available. Thatched roofs are a beautiful addition to an old or new building and I am able to offer thatching services and repairs to any thatched roof throughout Essex.
